Zainab Iftikhar is an Associate Professor of Economics (tenure-track) at the University of Bonn. She graduated with a double PhD in Economics from the Université catholique de Louvain and the Universität Bielefeld in April 2018. She is a research affiliate at CEPR and an investigator at ECONtribute cluster at the University of Bonn. Her areas of research are development and growth, demographic economics and international migration. Her research is published in the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Journal of International Economics, the Review of Economic Dynamics, and the World Development.
