Swapan-Kumar Pradhan is a Principal Statistical Analyst in the Monetary and Economic Department of the BIS, which he joined in 2003. He had previously held several positions in the Statistics Department of the Reserve Bank of India. He holds a PhD in financial economics, master's and a bachelor's degree in statistics from the University of Calcutta
