Max Friedrich Steinhardt is a Professor of Economics at Freie Universität Berlin. His professional experience includes positions at Helmut Schmidt University, the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI), Centro Studi Luca dAgliano (LdA) in Milan, and the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES) in Brussels. He obtained a PhD in Economics from University of Hamburg in 2009. His research focuses on labor economics, economics of migration, gender economics, economic history and political economy.
