Luca Stella is an Associate Professor of Economics (with tenure) at the University of Milan. He is also a Faculty Member of the Berlin School of Economics, a Research Fellow at IZA, and a Research Affiliate at CESifo. Luca is a labor economist working on migration, health economics, and demography. In particular, he studies the challenges and implications of technological advancements, such as digitalization, robotization, and AI, on both individuals and firms. His research has been published in scientific journals such as the Journal of Human Resources, Demography, European Economic Review, and Economic Policy. It has also received media attention from the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Washington Post, Bloomberg, Brookings, Tagesspiegel, and Corriere della Sera.
