Karina Colombo

Karina Colombo is a researcher at Instituto de Economía, Universidad de la República (Uruguay). She has a Ph.D. in Economics from European University Institute and a Master in Economics of Public Policy from Barcelona School of Economics. Her research focuses on topics related to applied economics in the fields of child development, health economics, policy evaluation, poverty, gender and survey design. She has also worked in the design and monitoring of social policies at the Ministry of Social Development (Uruguay), and as an independent consultant for the IADB and UNICEF.
