Federico Trombetta is an Economist (PhD Warwick Economics), currently Assistant Professor at Universita' Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. His research focuses on Political Economy, mainly from a theoretical perspective. He studies the determinants of selection into politics; determinants and inefficiencies in political accountability; information and political decision making; populism and policymaking; the political consequences of the interaction between politicians, bureaucrats and firms.
