UCLouvain, in collaboration with the National Bank of Belgium and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), invites submissions for the conference "Beliefs and the Macroeconomy", which will take place on 5-6 June 2025 in Brussels. The conference will bring researchers together to discuss recent papers at the intersection of behavioural economics and macroeconomics. Amongst other topics, we welcome submissions on: motivated beliefs and the role of memory and experience in forming economic expectations, particularly with a focus on how such beliefs shape macroeconomic outcomes; empirical analyses of expectation formation in macroeconomics and finance; and macroeconomic models with subjective beliefs.
