Achyuth Anil is a researcher at the Centre for Inclusive Trade Policy (CITP) and a Research Assistant in International Trade (Law) at the University of Sussex. Achyuth has extensive experience in providing legal advice on international trade, investment, economic governance and regulatory issues. He has worked with the Government of India’s trade law and policy think tank, the Centre for Trade and Investment Law, where he advised on free trade agreement negotiations in areas such as trade in services, investment, environment, labour, and mobility. Previously, he has also worked as a transactional lawyer with EY, advising on project finance and public-private partnerships for social sector projects. He has also been involved in research projects with the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment. He holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Jagdish Bhagwati Fellow.
